My passion for baking started when I was a little kid standing on my step stool to help my mom stir sauces on the stove. She was an amazing cook who loved to prepare a huge spread during the holidays, and it was there that my love for gourmet cupcake flavors began to blossom. I have so many wonderful memories of cooking and baking with her at her bed and breakfast. We worked together like a conductor with his symphony, offering suggestions like 'taste this,' 'slice that,' and 'a touch more salt.' Together, we created what I now like to refer to as my Kick Ass Cupcakes. She will always be with me, inspiring all my culinary creations.
Trying to keep a job during the pandemic was very difficult. I was tired of interviewing, getting hired, and then having to adapt to new environments, only to be laid off due to spikes in the virus. I needed a way to take care of myself, and after brainstorming with some Facebook friends, I decided to launch Kick Ass Cupcakes. I spent months perfecting my gourmet cupcake flavors because I didn't want to offer the same old cupcake. I drew inspiration from my childhood favorites, like the Oreo crunch that takes me back to nights watching Disney while dunking cookies in milk, and the Strawberry Lemonade reminiscent of fresh lemonade from the county fair. My S'more cupcakes evoke memories of cozy nights around the campfire. Each cupcake tells a story, and I bake them all with passion, a little attitude, and a lot of love. I look forward to baking for you, your family, and your business associates, putting smiles on all your faces.
